Npower is one of the ‘big six’ energy suppliers in the United Kingdom, serving approximately 6.5 million customers across the country with gas and electricity.
The company is owned by the German firm RWE through its Innogy subsidiary and operates as a retailer of energy in the UK. Although Npower used to generate power through coal, gas and renewable sources this is now mostly handled by the RWE division of the business. They employ over eleven thousand staff spread across a series of regional offices as well as their headquarters in Swindon.
