Scottish Power is a major British energy firm, supplying both gas and electricity throughout the entirety of the country. The company itself is a Glasgow-based subsidiary of the Spanish energy firm Iberdrola, who acquired the firm in 2006.
Scottish Power has such a large market share in their sector that they are referred to as one of the ‘big six’ energy companies. To support their network they employ around 10000 members of staff, ranging from customer service advisors to expert engineers.
